As a web-based solution actiTIME is accessed through a web browser and can be reached from any computer connected to the Internet or to your LAN.
However actiTIME is not an ASP, but a standalone solution. This implies that no financial information is stored outside your organization while you are using actiTIME.

actiTIME operates with database through ODBC/JDBC interfaces. At the moment supported databases are:

- Microsoft Access
Microsoft SQL Server is not supported.
-
It is possible to configure Apache Tomcat to work in conjunction with Microsoft IIS server.
You can read more about this configuration here:
Installation Guide: actiTIME Installation Under IIS.
-
Installation on the hosting provider server is possible, however,
this is a rather complicated procedure connected with the following difficulties:
- Your hosting provider server must support appropriate versions of Java, MySQL and Tomcat
(see System Requirements);
- The whole installation procedure should be done by an experienced system administrator;
The easiest way to set up actiTIME remotely is to order a dedicated server from your hosting provider.
-
The current version of actiTIME allows you to enter data in other
languages; however actiTIME interfaces are available only in English.
We plan to translate actiTIME interfaces into other languages in the
future actiTIME releases.
