To upgrade your actiTIME installation to actiTIME 2.1 Small Team Edition please follow the instruction below:

Make sure that you have the administrator privileges on the computer where actiTIME is installed.

Find out which installation package you need - Auto-Installation or Custom installation package.
You can find information on your actiTIME installation in the 'Help & Support' menu. Click on the '?' button, select 'About actiTIME' option and the dialog box with necessary info will show up.

Download appropriate installation package for actiTIME 2.1 Small Team Edition from the download page.

Install the downloaded package according to the instructions listed in the Administration Guide:

Start actiTIME and choose 'Run with Free License' option in the showed up form.
If you run actiTIME 2.0 - Trial for 3-users, you may select one of the following upgrade options:

If you are using actiTIME 2.0 - Online (hosted application service),
you are eligible for a FREE upgrade.
Upgrade will be performed automatically to actiTIME v2.1 with the same number of users and all available features. Contact actiTIME support team to find out the upgrade schedule.
If you are using actiTIME 2.0 with more than 10 users and/or Management or Accounting Extensions, you are eligible for a FREE upgrade!

Instruction for Free Upgrade
To upgrade your actiTIME installation to v2.1 please follow the instruction below:

Make sure that you have the administrator privileges on the computer where actiTIME is installed and you are granted 'Manage General Settings' access right in actiTIME.

Open 'Settings' > 'Licenses' interface in your actiTIME installation. You will see the details of your active license.

Click on the 'Purchase an upgrade' link
You will get the Upgrade page of actiTIME web site opened in a new browser window.

Click on the 'Proceed' button to proceed with free upgrade with the parameters of your current actiTIME license - i.e. with the same number of user accounts and product extensions as you already have.
At this step you can add user accounts and/or product extensions. Then the upgrade will not be free of charge and you will pay for the selected additional extensions or user accounts.
You will get the page with the registration form. The information entered in this form will be included into the license on the upgrade package.

Fill in the registration form and click on the 'Review Order Information' button. You will get the final page to review your upgrade package details.

Click on the 'Proceed to Download' button to open the download page.

Download Auto-Installation or Custom installation upgrade package depending on the type of your actiTIME installation.
You can find information on your actiTIME installation in the 'Help & Support' menu. Click on the '?' button, select 'About actiTIME' option and the dialog box with necessary info will show up.

Install the upgrade package according to the instructions in the Administration Guide:

Start actiTIME and insert new license key into the showed up form. The license key will be sent to the email address specified on step 5 in the registration form.
