2004
Built to track time and project costs for a software development company.

actiTIME exists to give project teams financial visibility into their projects, without the complexity of an enterprise suite.
From the beginning, actiTIME was built to help managers run projects better, not monitor employees. Every feature exists for a reason: to solve a real management problem, not simply expand the product.

There's one product, with the same complete feature set available to every paid customer. Pricing grows with your team, not with access to the product.

Tracking time is only useful when it helps managers make better decisions. That's why actiTIME turns tracked hours into insight about costs, budgets, billing, and profitability.

actiTIME was never meant to monitor employees. It helps managers plan projects, control budgets, and understand where time and money go.
Every feature is built by our own team and goes through design, engineering, and testing before release. We care more about getting it right than releasing it before it's ready.

Customers get onboarding and support from specialists who help adapt actiTIME to the way their team works, not just a help center article.

Protecting customer data has always been a priority for actiTIME. The product has been GDPR compliant since 2018 and includes the security features organizations expect from modern business software.

The cloud version runs on Amazon Web Services with SSL/TLS encryption, daily backups, configurable password policies, account lockout rules, and two-factor authentication. For organizations with stricter security requirements, actiTIME is also available as a self-hosted deployment.
The same team behind actiTIME also develops actiPLANS, leave and absence management software. Together, the two products help organizations manage working time and employee leave with tools designed to work naturally together.
